MAW Vriddhi will introduce the Nammi 01 electric hatchback in Nepal, starting at Rs 32.99 lakh for the 31.4 kWh battery variant and Rs 35.99 lakh for the 42.3 kWh battery option. The Nammi 01 will be officially launched at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2024.
Both variants feature a lithium iron phosphate battery pack paired with a 70 kW electric motor. The vehicle offers a range of 300 to 400 kilometers (NEDC) and can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes with a DC fast charger.
With dimensions of 4030/1810/1570 mm, a 2660 mm wheelbase, a ground clearance of 176 mm, and 17-inch wheels, the Nammi 01 stands out for its segment-first frameless doors, flush handles, and self-parking capabilities, highlighting its innovative technology and design.
The Nammi 01 seats five people and comes in seven vibrant colors, including four solid colors and three dual-tone combinations. Its cockpit features a 5-inch LCD instrument panel, a two-spoke multi-function steering wheel, and a 12.8-inch central screen, along with mobile remote control and over-the-air updates.
The Nammi 01 will rival the BYD Dolphin and Tata Punch in the Nepalese market.
